Pat Adams, proud owner of The Blind and Shutter Store, knows the value of a family-owned and operated company that goes the extra mile when the big blind and shutter franchises will not. Unlike franchise operations, we treat each Blind and Shutter Store customer as more than a number, and have stuck by our homegrown values since Pat started The Blind and Shutter Store in August 2013.
A proud father of 3 children and graduate of Metro State University (c/0 1993), Pat Adams was employed in the financial services business for 20 years and dreamed of starting his own business in the Denver-area to spend more time with his family. He wanted to create a place where he could also enjoy personal interaction with customers and mix that with his love of helping people solve their home decorating needs.
One of the things that Pat and his window treatment team are most proud of is The Blind and Shutter showroom, opened in March 2014. This beautiful space allows our customers to truly see what their window coverings will look like in reality, and offers a great way to make decisions on what window treatment designs to implement in their own Denver homes. At this time we have one of the very few window treatment showrooms in Douglas County. We love when our customers from all around the greater Denver metro have the opportunity to come visit our store and showroom! The showroom is located one block west of the Parker Post Office. The shopping center is on the north east corner of Twenty Mile Rd. and Pony Express Dr.
